Can anyone help me? I'm trying to find the final resting place of my Grandfather Frank Deeprose who died in 1965.I know that he lived at 3 Cumberland road in 1945.On his death he resided in Cooden sea road.If anyone has any information please will you let me know.

Hello Mike,

Looking at the 1901 census there's an Amy R Gibbs, age 22, a school teacher,born in Birmingham, living with her mother Rosanna Gibbs and brother Gilbert, in Ashley Street, Birmingham.

The spelling you wasnt is Cooden.

I am trying to trace my Family Tree and I wonder if anyone can help me.

About 1910 I believe that my Grandmother Amy Rosa Gibbs lived in Sidley and taught in the local school before marrying my Grandfather Horace Clayton at St Peter's Parish Church, Bexhill. He was in the 3rd Battlion, Middlesex Regiment stationed at Couden(?) Camp, Bexhill
If anyone knows anything about them I would be delighted to hear from you

Just to let you know that my Great Auntie lives in North road, Sidley. My mum is visiting her week starting 6th November. My mum said if you would like her to take some photos of the street & houses if they are still there she will.
